[Scholar News]rofessor Ning Lizhi from the School of Law was Appointed by the Expert Advisory Group of the State Council Anti-Monopoly Committee

On March 20, the plenary meeting of the expert advisory group of the new State Council Anti-monopoly Committee was held in Beijing. Ning Lizhi, Professor of WHU School of Law and the Director of WHU Institute of Intellectual Property and Competition Law, was selected as a consultant.

The meeting conveyed the contents of the plenary meeting of the new State Council Anti-monopoly Committee, and encouraged the expert advisory group to insist on optimizing the market competition environment, safeguarding the interests of consumers, serving the country's overall interests of economic development and strategy, promoting the construction of anti-monopoly law enforcement mechanisms, and strengthening anti-monopoly enforcement.

In the ten years since the implementation of the Anti-Monopoly Law, China has been committed to establishing competition policies and anti-monopoly rules with Chinese characteristics, promoting the establishment of a unified, open and competitive market system to safeguard consumer interests.

The expert advisory group consists of 17 experts from the competition law and related fields in China.
