This book explores the separatist trends in Hong Kong from a historical, political, social, and legal perspective. It analyzes Hong Kong's local consciousness, the theory of "Hong Kong independence" and the prevention and control mechanism of "Hong Kong independence" from a comprehensive interdisciplinary perspective. This book is one of the few English academic monographs on the study of Hong Kong nativism from the Mainland perspective.
