In recent years, China's digital economy has developed rapidly under theintroductionof strategic measures such as building cyberpower, digital China and smart society. As of June 2018, the number of Internet users in China reached 802 million, and the Internet penetration rate was 57.7%. The number of online payment users reached 569 million, of which the mobile payment users were 566 million. The digital economy has developed rapidly in the fields of mobile payment, online shopping, and sharing economy, which has profoundly changed people's way of production and lifestyle.

Building a sustainable digital world requires strengthening information technology innovation. The rise of information technology such as big data, artificial intelligence and cloud computing has provided unlimited possibilities for the development of the digital economy. To seize this strategic opportunity, we must increase the research and development of information technology, continue to release the digital dividend, and accelerate the promotion of industrial upgrading.

Building a sustainable digital world requires an ever-increasing level of digitization. China's digital economy is developing at a fast pace and with good momentum, but there are also problems of uneven development. At present, we should accelerate the application of digital technology in the industrial and agricultural fields. While giving full play to the role of the market, we should also introduce relevant supporting policies to guide digital technologies to continue to exert their strength in smart manufacturing and smart agriculture, so that information technology can better serve economic and social development. .

Building a sustainable digital world requires continuous improvement of the legal and regulatory system. The innovation and application of information technology such as big data, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing have greatly promoted the development of the digital economy, but also brought a series of ethical and legal problems and hidden dangers. Effectively solving these problems requires timely adjustment and improvement of relevant laws and regulations.

Building a sustainable digital world requires active participation in international cooperation. This is determined by the openness and sharing characteristics of information technology and information resources. Nowadays, the cross-border exchange and cooperation of information technology is more frequent, but the cyberspace also faces many risks, such as cyber terrorism and cybercrime, which require the cooperation and governance of the international community.
