Professor Ma Feicheng was Invited to Attend the 7th Asia-Pacific Conference on Library, Information and Education

The 7thAsian-Pacific Conference on Library & Information Education and Practice (A-LIEP), organized by Nanjing University from Nov. 3 to 4, 2016, was held at Nanjing University. More than 130 experts from China, the United States, Singapore, the Philippines, Japan, Thailand, India, Indonesia and other countries attended the meeting.

 

 

Professor Ma Feicheng, senior professor of Humanities and Social Sciences in Wuhan University and Director of the Information Resource Research Center, gave a lecture entitled "Organization of User Needs Information in the Big Data Environment". In view of the challenges on information organization posed by big data environment and user needs, a user needs network model is put forward with semantic description and organization on user needs information, in order to provide better knowledge services.
