The First "China Public Management Discipline Construction and Development Summit" was Held Successfully

On October 23, 2016, the First "China Public Management Discipline Construction and Development Summit (Dean) Forum" was held in our School of Political Science and Public Administration. It attracted the attendance of deans and leaders of Public Management Discipline from more than 30 universities, such as Arizona State University in the United States, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Wuhan University and so on.

 

The theme of this forum is public administration doctoral training and curriculum design. It is divided into two parts: "Introduction of Doctoral Program in Public Administration at Home and Abroad" and "Seminar on Construction of Doctoral Programs in Public Administration". Prof. Ding Huang, member of the Public Management Discipline Review Committee of the State Council Academic Degree Committee and Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration of Wuhan University, shared with experts the experience of WHU in terms of training program and curriculum design of the public administration disciplines of Wuhan University.

 

It is reported that the First "China Public Management Discipline Construction and Development Summit (Dean) Forum" opened up a new platform for China's public management disciplines and personnel training. (School of Political Science and Public Administration, Yao Qiang)
