On October 21, 2016, Ouyang Yujing, Director - General of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC, was invited to come to our school to deliver a lecture entitled "Responding to Philippines’s South China Sea Arbitration". Ouyang Yujing then analyzed the reason why the case has violated international law and why the arbitral tribunal has no jurisdiction. In addition, he also stressed the reason why China should not accept, recognize nor participate in the arbitration case, and the necessary measures China should take to respond to the arbitration case.
