Dean Xie Danyang was Invited to Attend the 6th Global Business School Dean Forum

From October 16 to 18, 2016, Professor Xie Danyang, Dean of the School of Economics and Management, was invited to attend the 6th Global Business School Dean Forum. The forum attracted the participation of deans of more than 220 leading global business schools from over 42 countries and regions and more than 160 organizations, as well as leaders from leading international business schools such as AACSB, EFMD, AMBA and GMAC.

Prof. Xie Danyang delivered a speech entitled "Win-Win Cooperation between Chinese Business Schools and Those of the Countries along the 'Belt and Road' Strategy" in the forum. In his speech, Prof. Xie Danyang discussed the opportunities and benefits brought by the development of the "Belt and Road" initiative for related countries, and he put forward the viewpoint of "Silk Road Economic Belt" based on regional ties.

It is reported that the biennial "Global Business School Dean Forum" was established in 2006 when the first forum was successfully held, and it has become the largest business school Dean-level event in Asia-Pacific. The purpose of the forum is to grasp the pulse of the times and to identify the direction of educational development for global business schools. (School of Economics and Management  Zhao Xiaoyue)
