2016 Li Buyun Law Award Presentation Ceremony was Held in Wuhan University

On October 16, 2016, the 4th Li Buyun Law Award Presentation Ceremony was held in Wuhan University. Professor Li Long from the School of Law and Prof. Sarah Biddulph from the University of Melbourne received this award. The ceremony was jointly organized by Shanghai Institute of Finance and Law, Guangzhou University and Wuhan University. Prof. Chen Xiaofeng from the School of Law of Wuhan University presided over the ceremony. Professor Li Long has long been engaged in the teaching and research of Jurisprudence and Constitutional Law, and is one of the earliest jurists who proposed legal education reform in contemporary China.

Li Buyun Law Award was launched by the Shanghai Institute of Finance and Law in 2013 to reward the individual and institutions that have made outstanding contributions to the Chinese legal research and foreign law research and legal education exchanges. The winners of the "Li Bunyun Law Award" are voted by the Li Bunyun Law Award Committee. The prize will be awarded once a year to one Chinese and one foreign winner. It is the first Chinese legal award that rewards foreign individuals and institutions.  (School of Law   Li Huimin)
