WHU Team Ranked the Third in the Fifth Global Supply Chain Case Competition

    Recently, the fifth GM/WSU Global Supply Chain Case Competition concluded in Detroit. The WHU team consisting of students majoring in logistics management led by associate professor Feng Hua from the School of Economics and Management won the third place.

    In the fierce final competition, the work GM new vehicle cost control and operational decision analysis submitted by our team was acclaimed by the judges with its detailed inventory,transport cost analysis and comprehensive purchasing and assembly operations management crisis solutions. The top two prizes were granted to University of North Dakota and Colorado State University.

    2015 marks the fifth year of the Global Supply Chain Case Competition, the organizers invited three international teams for the first time to participate in this event together with 18 teams from the United States, which broke the record in terms of the number of participating teams.
