Professor Ganne from University Lumiere Lyon II Lectures on African Countries

    Under the framework of French-speaking African Countries Project, Professor Ganne,a famous researcher of the Academy of Social Sciences from  University Lumiere Lyon II, visited Wuhan University from Sept. 16 to 30 at the invitation of the International Exchange Department of Wuhan University, during which a preliminary cooperation intention was reached between Professor Ganne and Wuhan University on building a French-speaking African Countries Research Center.

    Professor Ganne delivered a series of lectures about African continent and Burkina Faso, a French-speaking West African country, with the latter being the focus. He introduced Burkina Faso from geographical, historic, religion, demographic, economic and other perspectives, and expounded on its rich history and culture as well as the reasons that led to its poverty and backwardness.
