Professor Wu Genyou and Qin Ping Go to Japan for Academic Exchange

    Recently, Professor Wu Genyou and Associate Professor Qin Ping went to Japan for academic exchanges at the invitation of Koriyama Women's University.

    While in Japan, they went on a field trip in two cities -- Kyoto and Nara, and visited Japan Toyo University, and further discussed with the President Professor Takemura Makio on the academic cooperation in the philosophy discipline between the two schools. During this visit, Professor Wu Genyou and Associate Professor Qin Ping attended the 74th annual meeting of the Religious Society of Japan, which was organized by the Soka University in Japan. This meeting has the highest standard in the field of religious studies in Japan. Professor Wu submitted to the Conference the English abstracts of a paper entitled On Taoism · Taoist Body – “Oblivion" and read this paper at the meeting. Associate Professor Qin Ping submitted a paper entitled On Laozi’s “Dreamy” Dao.  (School of Philosophy  Qin Ping)
