Wuhan University Selected as the First Batch of Chinese Literary Criticism Bases

  

    On September 23, China Federation of Literature and Chinese Literature and Art Critics Association selected the first batch of Chinese literary criticism bases. Wuhan University was on the list.

    According to reports, this base is located in the Arts Department of our university; the person in charge is Zhou Yezhong, standing committee member of the School Party committee and Vice President of Wuhan University. The base aims to guide literary and artistic creation, promote outstanding works, improve the level of appreciation and criticize negative tendencies. The fact that our university was made one of the first batch of Chinese literary criticism bases would help to promote the development of literary and artistic discipline of our university, promote exchanges and cooperation with literary criticism workers from central China and even throughout the nation, in addition, it will also accelerate the growth of the young literary critic, and improve the level of literary criticism in Central China.

    The first batch of Chinese literary criticism bases include 22 units such as Wuhan University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Film Academy and so on. (Arts Department  Wang Yuli)
