[Academic Achievements] Professor Wu Jiang’s Book “Social Network Computing” Published by Springer

News network (Reporter: Lu Duqun) – Recently, “Social Network Computing”, a book by Professor Wu Jiang from the School of Information Management, was published by Springer.

The book is divided into three parts comprising 18 chapters, systematically discussing the foundational theories of social networks in the era of digital intelligence. It establishes a computational paradigm that integrates theory and application in social network research, offering computational perspectives to comprehend the complexities of contemporary social phenomena.

The Chinese version, nearly 700,000 characters in length, was published by the Electronic Industry Press in 2023, supported by the Ministry of Education’s Major Project for Philosophy and Social Science Research and the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Key Project. Due to its significant impact in constructing a theoretical framework for social network computing, Springer invited Professor Wu to publish an English edition of the book.
