News Network (Correspondent: Weng Mengjuan) From September 19 to 20, the Sino-French "Cultural Heritage and Digital Humanities" PhD Forum was held in Paris, France. The forum aimed to provide an academic exchange platform for scholars from both countries and promote research and collaboration in the field of cultural heritage.
This doctoral forum featured three events, multiple Chinese and French scholars presented research reports on topics such as handwritten text recognition, embodied virtual reality biographies, the phenomenon of de-semantization in French vocabulary, the digital reconstruction of annotated literature, the establishment of a digital twin data system for cultural heritage, and the digitization of complex cave systems, and they engaged in in-depth discussions with participants of the forum.
