[Academic News] Three Works of Professor Feng Tianyu Were Selected for the Chinese Academic Translation Project.

Recently, the National Office for Philosophy and Social Science Work announced the list of approved projects for the 2022-2023 National Social Science Fund's Chinese Academic Translation Project. Our university had 6 original works shortlisted and 4 projects approved for funding.

Among them, Professor Feng Tianyu's works "The History of Chinese Culture Formation" (French version), "Cultural History of Thirty Key Words" (English version), and "The Spirit of Chinese Classical Literature" (English version) were successfully selected, and the English version of "The History of Chinese Culture Formation" was also approved as a key project. In addition, "The Outline of Chinese Cultural Ecology" (English version) and "Ten Lectures on Chinese Classical Literature" (German version) were selected for the "Classic China International Publishing Project". "On the Intellectual Capacities of Chinese Thinkers" has been translated into Spanish and published twice, and many academic papers have been translated and published in well-known journals in both Japanese and English. More than ten works have been published and distributed in the Hong Kong and Taiwan regions.

Professor Feng Tianyu is a representative scholar in the field of Chinese cultural history research, and his research includes Chinese cultural history theory, intellectual history of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, regional cultural history, and other fields. For more than 40 years, he has played a leading role in these fields and his academic achievements, as an outstanding representative of Chinese books "going global", have had a profound academic impact both at home and abroad.
