[Youth Team] The Assessment and Acceptance Meeting for the Construction of the Sixth Batch of Young Academic Teams of Humanities and Social Sciences at Wuhan University was Held

on April 26^th, the assessment and acceptance meeting for the construction of the sixth batch of young academic teams ofhumanities and social sciences at Wuhan University was held in the conference room of the School of History. The 20 young academic teams, which were approved in 2019, presented their progress reports and defended their work during the assessment.

During the report and defense session, each team presented the construction achievements over the past three years, including team member profiles, the overview of the team's construction, the main academic achievements, the main measures and effects, and the highlights and landmark results of the team.

It is reported that since the launch of the Wuhan University Humanities and Social Sciences Young Academic Team Support Program in 2010, the university has selected and supported 93 academic teams in six batches, covering more than 20 colleges and institutions, providing an important platform for young talents to stand out and for the collective growth of academic teams. This batch of young academic teams in humanities and social sciences was approved in 2019 and has established 20 young academic teams, covering nearly 200 young scholars. The construction of these young academic teams in humanities and social sciences creatively applied various measures, including the implementation of a new construction model of "famous teachers + teams," the establishment of a team advisory system, the follow-up of academic mainstream and cutting-edge trends, the implementation of tiered support, the dynamic adjustment of funding categories, the strengthening of the consciousness of excellence, the enhancement of academic connections, the realization of the diversification of team members, and the promotion of flexible introduction of talents.
