Bamboo and Silk Made into the First Batch of Academic Journals to be Funded by the Chinese Academy of History

Recently, the Chinese Academy of History announced the 2021 academic journal funding list. 7 journals, includingBamboo and Silksponsored by Center of Bamboo Silk Manuscript the of Wuhan University, were selected.

The academic journal funding project by the Chinese Academy of History can be applied by academic journals of history sponsored by national history research and teaching institutions. It is of highly theoretical and practical value. It strives to build a high-end academic exchange platform and create internationally renowned and domestically first-class academic journals. Starting from 2021, the Chinese Academy of History organizes project approval once a year, with a funding period of three years.

Bamboo and Silkfocuses on professional collection of ancient Chinese bamboo and silk documents and the study of pre-Qin, Qin and Han history. Since its inception in 2006, it has stably edited and published 22 volumes, with a total of 640 academic papers, 47 research reviews, and 2 reviews.Bamboo and Silkhas been continuously included as a CSSCI source journal since 2014. In 2018, it was included in the Chinese Social Science Citation Index by the Institute of Chinese Social Sciences Research and Assessment of Nanjing University and theOverview of CSSCI Source Journalspublished by Nanjing University Press.
