[Scholar News] Wu Genyou was Appointed a Member of the Philosophy Teaching Steering Committee of Colleges and Universities under the Ministry of Education

On January 12, 2019, the inaugural meeting and the first plenary meeting of the 2018 to 2022 philosophy teaching steering committee of colleges and universities under the ministry of education was held in Nanjing University. 40 members of the Committee from relevant universities attended the meeting. Professor Wu Genyou, Dean of the School of Philosophy of our university, attended the meeting and was appointeda member ofthe new philosophy teachingsteering committee.

The main task of the Committee is to promote thedevelopmentand research of the "new liberal arts", become a facilitator for the implementation of the top-level talent training program of liberal arts, and guide the construction of first-class philosophy major and courses.
