Chinese and Foreign Scholars Discuss "Makerspace"

From November 23 to 24, 2016, the 7^th"International Symposium on Information Technology in Education" (ITIE2016) was held in our university. Experts and scholars from Chinese and foreign libraries and educational circles as well as representatives of faculties attended the symposium. They conducted discussion on the theme of “Makerspace of Students and Educators”.

The conference was co-sponsored by Wuhan University Library and the American Evergreen Education Foundation. During the two-day conference, experts and scholars organized 22 high-level keynote speeches around the theme of the conference.

It is learned that the Information Technology in Education (ITIE) Conference, jointly organized by the Evergreen Education Foundation and the Chinese domestic institutions, has been held every two years since 2004, so far six conferences have been held. (Correspondent Zhang Miao, Dai Lei)
