Professor Huang Xian’s Major National Social Science Fund Project was Exempted from Inspection

 

 

According to the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science, the Major National Social Science Fund Project "A Study on Improving the Macroeconomic Regulation and Control System – from a Pertinent, Flexible and Forward-looking Perspective" (project number: 12&ZD046 ), which was chaired by Prof. Huang Xian from the Department of Finance of School of Economics and Management, was passed with “exemption from inspection” by the National Social Science Fund Committee due to its completion on schedule, solid material and high quality.

 

The project is a systematic review of the monetary policy objectives, monetary policy rules, monetary policy instruments and monetary policy transmission channels of domestic and foreign monetary authorities under the new environment. Based on the domestic and international economic and financial development trends, the project points out the issues existing in the macroeconomic regulation of China, and aims to build a preliminary forward-looking framework of macro-financial regulation and control system in China.
