In the afternoon of Sept. 7, Mr. Liang Weinian, Standing Committee of Hubei provincial Party Committee and Minister of the Publicity Department of Hubei Province, went to Wuchang District for the survey and investigation work of the pilot project “Boosting Cultural Consumption of Urban and Rural Residents”. Professor Fu Caiwu, Dean of the National Institute of Culture Development in Wuhan University, attended the meeting as the chief expert for the pilot project policy design.
Mr. Liang Weinian visited some of the pilot enterprises, and put forward specific objectives and requirements concerning “Guiding the Expansion of Cultural Consumption for Urban and Rural Residents Pilot” in Wuhan in 2016. At the meeting, Mr. Liang listened to the work summary for boosting the cultural consumption in Wuchang District pilot system design in 2015 and suggestions on the pilot work in 2016 delivered by Professor Fu Caiwu. Professor Fu introduced the background for the project of "Boosting Cultural Consumption of Urban and Rural Residents" in 2015 conduced by the Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Finance, the main policy content of Wuchang District as the pilot district in Central China, the effect of the pilot as well as the policy advices for the cultural consumption pilot expansion in 2016.
In 2015, commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Finance, the National Institute of Cultural Development in Wuhan University assumed the task of system design for the pilot of "Boosting Cultural Consumption of Urban and Rural Residents"(Central China).
