Professor Ma Xiao from Translation and Interpreting Department was Selected for the 2016 National Social Science Fund Chinese Academic Translation Project

Recently, it was learnt from the National Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office that the 2016 National Social Science Fund Chinese Academic Translation Project results were announced. This translation projectComparative Study Of Representative System (composed by Professor Zhou Yezhong, published by the Commercial Press) chaired by Professor Ma Xiao, dean of the Translation and Interpreting Department of School of Foreign Language and Literature, was approved with a fund of 500,000 RMB Yuan.

The National Social Science Fund Chinese Academic Translation Project is an important part of the National Social Science Fund. In 2016, 132 Chinese Academic Translation Projects were announced to the public, and 130 of them were officially approved. (School of Foreign Language and Literature)
