Cheng Hong: Focus on Overall Macroeconomic Quality and Microeconomic Goods and Services Quality

On March 16, the opening report meeting of the project entitled “overall macroeconomic quality and microeconomic goods and services quality ‘double increase’ mechanism research”, which is a key project of philosophy and social science of the Ministry of Education in 2015, was held in our university.

At the meeting, the project leader Professor Chen Hong, Dean of Quality Development Strategy Research Institute, introduced this project in terms of research objectives, research framework, six sub-topic research content, research methods and international cooperation in the research process. Project group members mainly focused on reporting the basic situation of "transformation and upgrading, improving efficiency" enterprise surveys and research results that the group conducted in 2015.

Experts agreed that this project has cutting-edge topics, enough space for innovation, a strong research foundation, reasonable structural design and clear thinking. Ma Feicheng, a Senior Professor of Humanities and Social Science of Wuhan University, pointed out that this project made full use of first-hand survey data and reasonable research methods. It was recommended that the project team should grasp the direction of the survey, clarify the concepts of products versus goods and services, as well as the relationship between micro and macro, strengthen large scale cases and database construction, endeavoring to enhance the say of China in this field.
