2014 Annual China Humanities and Social Sciences Journals Evaluation Report Officially Published

      Recently, the China Humanities and Social Sciences Journals Evaluation Report (2014) was officially published by the China Social Sciences Publishing House, the report was released by the Chinese Evaluation Center for Humanities and Social Sciences of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

     According to the 2014 evaluation results of China 's Humanities and Social Sciences journals, the humanities and social sciences journals of our university did a good job. Among them, the Document, Information & Knowledge scored 69.6530, ranking the 5^th out of 31 in Library, Information and Archives Discipline; Economic Review scored 68.6788, ranking 14^th out of 109 in the economics discipline; Law Review scored 63.6640, ranking 16^th out of 32 in the disciplines of law; Journal of Wuhan University (Philosophy and Social Sciences) and the Journal of Wuhan University (Humanities Sciences) scored 70.2648 and 59.3211, ranking the 16^th and 52^th out of 187 respectively in Comprehensive Humanities and Social Sciences. All the aforementioned journals have been listed in core journals rank.

     It is learnt that the China Humanities and Social Sciences Journals Evaluation Report has evaluated 733 kinds of humanities and social science journals in our country. In 2014, 17 journals were evaluated as top journals, 40 authoritative journals, 430 core journals and 246 extended journals.
