Professor Cheng Hong Invited to Report on the Meeting of Xi’an Municipal Standing Committee

In the morning of June 9^th, Professor Cheng Hong, the dean of the Institute of Quality Development Strategy was invited to give a report, entitled China’s Innovation of the Rule of Law in Quality and the Strategy of Building Quality City at the meeting of Xi’an municipal standing committee.

Cheng analyzed the implications of quality issues on the economic development planning under the new normal and shed light on problems in the course of quality development at both the state and local levels. Under the new normal, Xi’an should build up awareness of quality and capitalize it so as to seek further opportunities. In addition, it should also study the government’s development strategies such as quality promotion, quality supervision, press ahead with institutional reform, take relevant measures to ensure quality supervision and endeavor not to cross the bottom-line in quality supervision and security.
