Symposium on Confucian Classics Studies in Han Dynasty and Confucianism Successfully Convened in Our University

On May 30^th and 31^st, the Symposium on Confucian Classics Studies in Han Dynasty and Confucianism was held in our university, with the attendance of 28 scholars from Beijing , Shanghai , Taiwan and Japan and dozens of scholars from Wuhan .

The experts and scholars presented their papers and discussed about the topics such as “the Five Classics in Han Dynasty and Traditional Classical Study”, “Confucian Analects in Han Dynasty and Mencius”, “the Classic of Filial Piety and its Culture in Han Dynasty”, “Books about Charms and the Study of Charms” and “the Comparison between Unearthed Documentaries on Bamboo Slips and Silks and the Documents Handed Down from Ancient Times”. The classics, for instance, the Book of Change, the Spring and Autumn Annals, classical studies on the Book of Songs and Baihutong as well as great thinkers like Dong Zhongshu and Wang Chong had been brought in the limelight.（School of Chinese Classics  Yu Min）
