Wuhan University Institute for International Studies, IIS

Wuhan University Institute for International Studies is a platform for researches on international issues of interdisciplinary nature. By pooling research resources from such disciplines as international law, world economy, world history, international relations, Western philosophy and foreign cultures, the Institute conducts comprehensive multi-subject studies with a focus on international and global hotspot issues amid the peaceful development of China.

Since its establishment in 2006, the Institute has been committed to promoting the academic researches, voicing Chinese scholars’ opinions and achievements and serving for our international strategies and foreign policies. Research focuses are international issues amid China’s peaceful development and hotspot issues such as energy, counter-terrorism, trade friction, international conflicts, war and peace and major-country relationship.
