Recently, the National Philosophy and Social Science Planning Office announced the list of approved projects for the 2023 National Social Science Fund major bidding projects. Our university was approved for 9 projects, ranking third among universities, tied with Peking University.
The approved projects include:
1. Professor Li Gang from the School of Information Management - "Research on National Competition in the Field of Scientific and Technological Security from the Perspective of Information Science."
2. Professor Wang Xincai from the School of Information Management - "Research on the History of Chinese Bibliography."
3. Professor Cha Xianjin from the School of Information Management - "Research on the Social Impact and Information Governance of Disruptive Applications of Artificial Intelligence."
4. Professor An Lu from the School of Information Management - "Research on Resilient Social Intelligent Information Support and Decision-making in Uncertain Environments."
5. Professor Deng Shengli from the School of Information Management - "Construction and Application Research on Information Resource Management Discipline Research Methods Knowledge Base".
6. Professor You Shibing from the School of Economics and Management - "Statistical Monitoring, Early Warning, and Countermeasure Research on China's Food Security".
7. Professor Fan Fei from the School of Economics and Management - "Research on Coordinated Development of Urban Agglomerations Driving the Coordinated Development of Large, Medium, and Small Cities".
8. Professor Jiang Xiaoyi from the Institute of Border and Ocean Studies - "Research on the Coordination of Domestic Legal Governance and International Legal Governance in Global Environmental Governance."
9. Professor Wang Shaojian from the School of Urban Design - "Research on the Path of Land Spatial Planning Based on Carbon Neutrality Goals."
It is reported that our university ranks third among universities in the number of approved projects in three categories: National Social Science Fund major bidding projects, annual projects, and youth projects. The number of approved projects for annual and youth projects has achieved the best results in history. Over the past five years, our university has been approved for 55 National Social Science Fund major bidding projects, ranking second among Chinese universities.
