The Revised Edition of Western Economics Edited by Yan Pengfei and Wen Jiandong was Officially Published

Recently,Western Economics(Second Edition) has been published by the Higher Education Press and the People's Publishing House. Prof. Yan Pengfei from the School of Economics and Management, also a researcher at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences of WHU, is the chief expert of the writing group, and Prof. Wen Pengdong is a main member of the writing group. At present, the supporting materials forWestern Economicshave also been published, including the case analysis edited by Professor Wen Jiandong.

TheWestern Economics(Second Edition) insists on "combining discussion with reviews" to present the Western economic knowledge system. The purpose is that no matter how the Western economics changes, its class nature and defense position will not change in a fundamental manner. Only under the guidance of the scientific theory of Marxist political economy and based on China's oriental cultural background and the specific practice of socialism with Chinese characteristics, can we learn the scientific factors of Western economics and maximize its positive role.
