The forum is one of the 19 sub-forums of the Fifth World Internet Conference.

He said that the international nature of cyberspace determines that cyberspace governance cannot be separated from internationally recognized rules. As a keynote speaker of the forum, Professor Huang Zhixiong, Deputy Dean of the School of Law of our university, elaborated on the necessity of advocating and establishing network sovereignty, and clarified the connotation and extension of network sovereignty, and put forward some principles for exercising network sovereignty.
The cyberspace international rules forum was first launched in the 4th World Internet Conference in 2017 and continues to be one of the sub-forums of the conference this year. Our University actively promoted the establishment of this forum, and was invited by the National Internet Information Office to be the forum co-organizer for two consecutive years. The success of the forum will help to further expand our domestic and international influence in the field of cyberspace governance.
