Domestic Scholars Discuss Opportunities and Challenges of the Rise of Central China

On September 24th, the fourth symposium of "China's Regional Economy 50-person Forum" that hosted by China's Central Development Research Institute was held in Wuhan University. The theme of the seminar was "Opportunities for the Rise of Central China and Challenges ", more than 60 experts engaged in the research and practice of regional issues from government functions, research institutions, institutions of higher learning attended the meeting.

“China's Regional Economy 50-person Forum” invited influential experts and young scholars who have always been involved in the regional development theory, policy research and practical work, it is an academic platform for the study of China's regional economic theory, policy and practice, which aims at deepening regional economic theory research, putting forward policy recommendations to promote regional coordinated development, and promoting the implementation of national regional development strategy.

This Symposium was conducted in the form of keynote reports and free speeches. Invited experts made keynote reports entitled "Increase the Financial Displacement, Accelerate the Pace of the Rise of Central China – Reflecting On the Financial Weakening of the Central Region" and "The Comparative Advantage and Path of the Rise of Central China".
