"Chronic Disease Knowledge Management-based Smart Pension Platform Research" Project was Launched

On January 14, "Chronic Disease Knowledge Management-based Smart Pension Platform Research" project was launched in Wuhan University School of Information Management. This project was chaired by professor Ma Feicheng, who is a Humanities and Social Sciences Senior Professor and director of Center for the Study of Information Resources of Wuhan University, and it was jointly funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and K.T. Li Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology.

Professor Ma expressed that hopefully, through cooperation between Wuhan University and National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Science, interdisciplinary research among medicine, computer science and information management can solve more practical problems in an extensive and in-depth manner.

In the project launch meeting, project team members elaborated on research content, research framework, technical route and expectations from four aspects, namely “chronic disease knowledge base system construction research”, “Cloud-based personal health data management research”, “chronic disease management data standard and norms research”, “smart pension platform design and service model research”.
