Hubei Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision builds Quality Research Institution with WHU

    On November 27, Wang Xingyu, Party Secretary and General Director of the Hubei Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and his colleagues came to Wuhan University for survey, planning to join hands with Wuhan University to build the Wuhan University Institute of Quality Development Strategy into a high ground of academic research and technological innovation.

    Cheng Hong, Dean of the Wuhan University Institute of Quality Development Strategy, introduced the latest development of the Institute from the perspective of co-construction conditions, provincial research projects, serving Hubei economic and social research and high-end training etc.  After listening to this report, Wang Xingyu pointed out that over the past 8 years, Wuhan University Institute of Quality Development Strategy has strengthened its own capacity and scored great achievements in various areas, it has generated a series of high-level research results, cultivated a large number of high-quality professionals, thus contributing to the national cause of quality development and socio-economic development of Hubei Province, and providing important intellectual support and personnel support for China. The two sides agreed to deepen and expand their cooperation, and promote the China Quality Inspection Lectures project.

    Wuhan University Institute of Quality Development Strategy is co-constructed by Wuhan University and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the PRC. It is a teaching and research entity that takes quality-related phenomenon as its main object of study, while also involving other interdisciplinary approaches, such as economics, management, law, history, applied mathematics, computer, industrial engineering, standard measurement, etc. Over the past 8 years since its establishment, the Institute has been mainly focusing on macro-quality and mechanism innovation, achieving coordinated and sustainable development among scientific research, personnel cultivation and social services.
