Deputy Principal of Xiamen University Wu Daguang Lectured in Our University

On June 5th, at the invitation of Wuhan University, Professor Wu Daguang, the deputy principal of Xiamen University gave a report entitled the Reform of Higher Education—Periodical Features and Peculiarity at the Centre for Education Studies.

Centering around the topic of “innovation” and “quality”, Wu briefed the ideals and reality in reforming higher education. Starting from 3 propositions on “property right”, “teaching culture” and “employment of college students”, he analyzed the periodical features and peculiarities in the development of China’s higher education and demonstrated three management patterns, namely “experience management”, “scientific management” and “value judgment management”.
