Professor Marijn Janssen, Editor-in-Chief of GIQ, was Invited our School of Information Management for Lecture

On the afternoon of September 19, 2019, Prof. Marijn Janssen, Editor-in-chief of theGovernment Information Quarterly(GIQ), a top 5 journal of the Library and Information Science, was invited to our university to give a lecture on the writing and submission of GIQ papers.

Professor Marijn Janssen introduced the GIQ journal positioning and the distribution of important topics, as well as some issues writers need to pay attention when submitting papers. Professor Marijn Janssen discussed the components and highlights of the academic paper. He believes that a clear research scope, solid theoretical foundation, in-depth literature review, and high academic value are the characteristics of a high-level paper. The completion of the writing of the paper does not mean the end of this scientific research task. There are still some problems that need to be considered before the submission.
