Deans of Studies of Chinese Learning Gathered at Luojia

The 4th National Forum for Deans of Studies of Chinese Learning and the 5th anniversary celebration for the founding of School of Chinese Classics of Wuhan University were held from May 23 to 24, attracting the presence of nearly 70 experts and scholars to discuss the contemporary education of the Chinese classics and the development this discipline.

After the opening ceremony, Professor Deng Xiaonan from the Department of History of Peking University and Professor Liu Dong from the Academy of Chinese Learning of Tsinghua University delivered keynote speeches. This high-level forum focused on the hotspot issues in the field of Chinese Learning, and explored the reform and development of Chinese learning in institutions of higher learning.
