[Academic Achievements] WHU Added another three Excellent Achievements of the National Social Science Fund Project

Recently, the National Philosophy and Social Sciences Work Office announced the completion of the National Social Science Fund’s annual project, youth project, and western project in May 2021. Three National Social Science Fund projects of our university have been awarded excellent grades. A total of 490 results were checked and accepted in this batch, 30 of which were approved as excellent.

The three new excellent achievements of our university are as follows: "Research on the Impact Evaluation of Chinese Scholars' International Academic Papers" by Professor Zhao Rongying of the School of Information Management, "Research on the Typed Processing of Trial Procedure Violations" by Professor Zhan Shangang of the School of Law, and “Research on the Comprehensive Evaluation of the International Influence of Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Academic Achievements” by Professor Yang Siluo of the School of Information Management.

In recent years, Wuhan University has continuously improved project management capabilities and levels, and strengthened quality control. While paying attention to projects approval, we pay more attention to the completion of projects, and we attach equal importance to both quantity and quality of the results of projects. Therefore, more and more projects from our university are awarded excellent rate in recent years. It is learnt that the National Social Science Fund project results acceptance process is strictly reviewed, and only a few results can be approved with excellent grades each year.
