On the afternoon of September 9, 2019, the fifth lecture of the Luojia Economics and Management High-end Forum was held at the School of Economics and Management, and Professor Pradeep Dubey from the State University of New York at Stony Brook gave an academic lecture entitled “Transfers in Non-cooperative Games”.
Professor Dubey and his collaborators proposed two core conditions for transfer payments: budget balance and transparency. In addition, he further expanded the transfer payment balance and relaxed the restriction of state-dependent transfer payment into cross-state transfer payment, which greatly broadened the scope of application of the new framework. Finally, Professor Dubey elaborated on how to introduce a game designer perspective in the new framework and systematically analyzed the equilibrium structure based on transfer payment.
