Jihwando, a Foreign Teacher, Explained the Cheating and Compensation in Industry Alliance

JihwanDo, an Assistant Professor from the Department of Mathematical Economics and Mathematical Finance of the School of Economics and Management, published his paperCheating and compensation in price-fixing cartelsin the Journal of Economic Theory, a top international journal in the field of theoretical economics. The paper examines cheating and compensatory behavior in industry alliances.

In recent years, the School of Economics and Management has vigorously introduced outstanding foreign professionals to enrich the teaching staff. Wuhan University and the School of Economics and Management provide new young teachers with a certain amount of research start-up funds to help foreign teachers familiarize themselves with the domestic scientific research system and working and living environment as soon as possible, and provide them with full logistics and language support. Foreign teachers of the School of Economics and Management have played an important supporting role in teaching in English and international accreditations by AACSB/EQUIS. They have published a series of academic papers in top international journals such as Journal of Economic Theory, Economic Theory, and Mathematics of Operations Research, which has played a positive role in promoting the internationalization process of the School.
