Professor Feng Tianyu's New Book Yangtze River Civilization Published

The publication ofYangtze River Civilization,which was edited by Feng Tianyu, a senior professor of the Humanities and Social Science of Wuhan University and director of the Academic Committee of the Yangtze River Civilization Archaeology Institute of Wuhan University, is another major scientific research achievement of the Yangtze River Civilization Archaeology Institute of Wuhan University.

The bookYangtze River Civilizationbriefly summarizes the natural conditions of the Yangtze River Basin, analyzes the status of the Yangtze River civilization in various river civilizations in detail, and makes detailed science popularization of the Yangtze River civilization. The length of the mainstream of the Yangtze River ranks first in Asia and third in the world. Compared with other large river basins that nurture human civilization, the uniqueness of the Yangtze River Basin is shown in three aspects: natural conditions, azimuth characteristics and civilization signs. The unique ecological environment of the Yangtze River Basin provides superior natural conditions, enabling it to have a greater potential for civilized development.

It is learnt that the book uses a wealth of graphic materials to fully demonstrate the natural and cultural prosperity of the Yangtze River Basin, which plays an important role in promoting the culture of the Yangtze River. This book is also the third book published since the establishment of the Yangtze River Civilization Archaeology Institute of Wuhan University.
