The 5th Luojia Cherry Blossom Forum focuses on the collaborative reform of "medical care, medical insurance, and medicine"

From April 10th to 11th, the Fifth Luojia Cherry Blossom Forum co-sponsored by the Global Health Research Center of Wuhan University and the Dong Fufeng Economic and Social Development School was held. More than 300 experts and scholars from central and local government think tanks, university scientific research institutes, industry and industry associations gathered in Luojia Mountain to have some exchanges and discussions on the coordinated reform of China's "medical care, medical insurance, and medicine" in the new era. Vice President Xu Yeqin attended the event.

Xu Yeqin said that Wuhan University has always closely linked to the development of universities and the destiny of the nation, and actively promoted the construction of the "Luojia Think Tank", providing a strong theoretical reserve and intellectual support for the country's economic and social development. Luojia Cherry Blossom Forum, as an important academic brand of Wuhan University, focuses on healthy China and the reform of the medical and health system, and has produced a large number of high-quality academic results in recent years. This forum endeavors to focus on deepening the coordinated reform of China's medical care, medical insurance, and medicine, discuss the path of the high-quality medical security system of universal coverage in the new era and its opportunities and challenges, and provide some references for the reform and development of the universal medical security system during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.

It is reported that the fifth Luojia Cherry Blossom Forum lasts for two days, with 1 main forum and 13 parallel sessions. The discussion is centered on some important and key issues, such as the coordinated reform of China's medical care, medical insurance, and medicine, centralized procurement of medicines, management of pharmaceutical affairs, the supervision of medical insurance funds, coordination of staff outpatient clinics, and the credit rating of medical institutions, elderly health, journal development, etc. This forum has not only provided a platform for experts and scholars in related fields to exchange views, but also promoted the construction of a "healthy China" in the context of the in-depth medical reform in the new era, and contributed to improving the medical security system.
