[Academic News] The Second International Symposium on Supply Chain and Service Innovation (ISSSI) was Successfully Held

From March 21 to 22, the Second International Symposium on Supply Chain and Service Innovation (ISSSI) was successfully held at the School of Economics and Management of our school. Professor Liu Xueyuan, President of the ASCOM (The Association of Supply Chain and Operations Management) from the Department of Business Administration of the School of Economics and Management, and Professor Chen Qingjia, Vice President of the ASCOM from the University of Nottingham Ningbo, China, co-hosted the Symposium.

The Symposium focused on “Industry-University-Research Cooperation to Promote Supply Chain and Service Innovation” and brought together a group of domestic scholars and entrepreneurs who are committed to promoting supply chain innovation and application.

It is reported that the 12th International Conference on Operation and Supply Chain Management (ISCOSCM) and Entrepreneurial Thought Leaders Seminar organized by ASCOM will be held on July 12-15 at Qingdao Haier Group. The CEO of Haier Group, Zhang Ruimin, will invite Professor Hau Lee, a renowned scholar of supply chain management at Stanford University, Prof. Zhao Xiande of China Europe International Business School, Victor Fung of Hong Kong Fung Group, and Mr. Liu Qiangdong, President of JD Group, to discuss the supply chain development status and future trends of Chinese companies. What kind of inspiring sparks will come out of conference where industry, education, and research interact with one another? What inspiration can we learn from those cases? Let's wait and see!
