Scholars Focus on "Belt and Road" International Disputes Settlement Mechanism

On November 25, the 2ndEast Lake International Law Forum was held in Wuhan. Over 200 experts and scholars engaged in in-depth discussion of hot issues related to "Belt and Road" international disputes settlement mechanism.

Han Jin, Party Secretary of Wuhan University, pointed out that international disputes would arise in the process of building the "Belt and Road". To properly resolve international disputes is an important guarantee. Under the background of exploring a new mode of international cooperation and global governance, it is of great significance to discuss issues of "Belt and Road" international disputes settlement mechanism.

Huang Jin, President of China University of Political Science and Law, believed that we should guide the study of the "Belt and Road" international dispute settlement mechanism based on the idea of ​​"building a community of shared future". He emphasized that the "Belt and Road" international dispute settlement mechanism should be established on the model of "solving disputes through dialogue and addressing differences through consultation".

Subsequently, participating experts delivered keynote speeches and expressed their opinions on relevant legal issues related to "Belt and Road Initiative".
