The 2017 International Symposium on Chinese Bamboo Manuscripts was Held in Wuhan University

Professor Huang Dekuan introduced the bamboo slips in the Warring States collected by Anhui University

 

From October 10 to October 11, the 2017 International Symposium on Chinese Bamboo Manuscripts was held in Wuhan University. This Symposium was co-sponsored by the Center of Bamboo and Silk Manuscripts of Wuhan University, Center for Chinese History Studies of the Department of History of the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and the Department of History of the Kyungpook National University, which has attracted more than 50 scholars from the United States, Canada, Germany, South Korea, Japan, China(including Hong Kong, Taiwan).

The Symposium mainly focused on the newly unearthed bamboo slips of the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties, and there were one session of keynote speeches, one session of new material introduction, six sessions of special reports, and a total of 46 papers were read, involving many aspects of the political history, economic history, system history, culture history and language aspect of the Warring States, Qin and Han Dynasties.
