Professor Huang Zhixiong Participated in Drafting Wuzhen Report on World Internet Development 2016

At the Third World Internet Conference, the Chinese and English version of theWuzhen Report on World Internet Development 2016were officially released after the deliberation and adoption by the General Assembly of the High-level Advisory Committee of Experts as the General Assembly's landmark result.

 

Professor Huang Zhixiong, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University, has been invited by relevant departments to participate in drafting the "Wuzhen Report" since September this year. During the Third World Internet Conference, Professor Huang Zhixiong participated in the "Wuzhen report" finalization and deliberation in the capacity of “senior advisory committee member”. In addition, as one of China's core experts, Professor Huang Zhixiong also participated in "Sino-US think tank dialogue" between China Academy of Cyberspace and the United States Brookings Institute on November 17, the two sides conducted in-depth discussion on network security policy under the new US presidency and the prospects for cooperation in cyberspace security between China and the US.
