The Second Batch of Post-70s Generation Academic Teams Appraised

 

      

     

      On December 2, the appraisal meeting for the 2nd batch of academic teams for the Post-70s Generation Scholars Development Program of Humanities and Social Sciences was conducted, 10 teams were appraised by expert panel review and mass appraisal.

      Deputy party secretary Luo Yuting attended the appraisal meeting and acted as a judge, review experts also included Zhang Jianmin, Shang Yongliang, Yan Shuangwu, Du Qun, Pan Min, etc., superintendent of the first batch and third batch teams also attended the meeting.

      Luo Yuting pointed out that the Post-70s Generation Scholars Development Program of Humanities and Social Sciences was an important measure to promote the development of young and middle-aged scholars, and increase the potential for the development of Wuhan University humanities and social sciences. Through strict appraisal, the review experts examined the progress of the Program, hoping that all the teams can further clarity their main areas of research and achieving more academic results.

       10 teams were appraised by the panel, team representatives gave presentations and oral defense by introducing their scientific research, social services, team building, personnel cultivation, innovation and representative results. Those teams include Financial Development and the Rise of Central China Research Team, Contemporary Chinese Human Rights Law Research Team, Tax Law Post-70s Generation Academic Team, China's Peaceful Rise Foreign Strategy Research Team, Creativity cultivation and Education Innovation Team, Research Team on the Generational Change of the Chinese Literature Communication and Acceptance, Social Media Innovation Research Team, Communication Theory Innovation team, Modern Times Social Transformation and Crisis Response team, China Services Trade and its International Competitiveness Research Team.

        It is reported that in 2009, Wuhan University introduced the Implementation Plan of Post-70s Generation Scholars Development Program for Humanities and Social Sciences, a pioneering innovation program nationwide, which provided comprehensive support for liberal arts young academic teams, and fostered a number of excellent research teams.
