The Canadian scholars, Professor Ruth Hayhoe and Professor Zha Fuqiang gave lectures in our university

In May 9th, the Canadian scholars, Professor Ruth Hayhoe of Toronto University and Professor Zha Fuqiang of York University, were invited to give a lecture in our school. In the Institute of Education Sciences, they respectively gave their academic reports entitled “China Through the Lens of Comparative Education” and “Mixed methods research in comparative education: Some reflections based on a survey of the literature”. From the perspective of comparative education, Professor Ruth Hayhoe has interpretated the development of Chinese education in three aspects(“comparative education and China”, “higher education and history”, “religion, culture and education”)
